Privacy Policy
Effective as of: July 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to Floodline Restoration Co. and the website located at waterdamageenglewoodnj.com. By visiting the site or submitting a service request, you agree to the practices described here. Floodline Restoration Co. is a marketing and referral company - we advertise home services, collect requests from visitors, and pass those requests to independent businesses that do the actual work. We do not have crews or technicians; we connect people with the businesses that do.
Security
We apply industry-standard technical and administrative safeguards to protect the personal information we hold - things like encrypted data transmission and access controls. That said, no method of storing or transmitting data over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, or altered without authorization, and by using the site you acknowledge that reality.
Affiliated brands and shared service providers
Floodline Restoration Co. is one of several home-service brands operating under common ownership or management. Those affiliated brands share certain back-end infrastructure - including call-answering services, scheduling and CRM platforms, hosting environments, and marketing technology - so that requests can be routed to the right trade category and geographic area and so that billing, fraud prevention, and quality-control functions can be handled efficiently.
Personal information you submit may be accessed by or transferred to those affiliated brands and the vendors that serve all of them. Any entity that receives your information in this way is either bound by this policy or operates under a materially equivalent one.
State privacy rights
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah - and residents of other states that have enacted comparable consumer privacy legislation - have the rights described in this section.
- Access and knowledge: You may ask us for the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, as well as the categories of recipients to whom it was disclosed.
- Correction: You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Deletion: You may ask us to delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Portability: You may request a copy of your personal information in a portable, usable format.
- Opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising: You may direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information and to stop using it for targeted advertising or profiling.
Important notice about how this site works: When you submit a service request, the contact details and project information you provide are passed to the independent businesses that will respond to you. Under certain state privacy laws, that transfer may qualify as a “sale” or a “share” of personal information. If you do not want your information passed along in that way, please do not submit a request. If you have already submitted one and wish to opt out or withdraw, contact us through the contact page - that is the mechanism for exercising your opt-out right; there is no on-site toggle or cookie banner for this purpose.
How to exercise any of these rights: Submit your request through https://waterdamageenglewoodnj.com/contact-us/. An authorized agent may submit on your behalf, but we may require written proof of that authorization. We may also need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by the law of your state.
Appeals: If we decline to act on a request, we will tell you why. You may appeal that decision by replying to our response or contacting us again through the contact page; we will inform you of the outcome of the appeal.
Non-discrimination: We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide you with a lower quality of service because you exercised any of the rights listed here.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable tracking technologies to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors move through and interact with the site. This helps us improve site performance and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
You can limit or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect how the site functions.
Some of the analytics and advertising cookies on this site may be characterized as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising purposes under applicable state privacy laws. If you want to limit that use, you can make that request through the contact page.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as it is needed to coordinate the service request you submitted and to meet any applicable legal or compliance obligations. Once that purpose has been satisfied, the information is deleted or de-identified in the ordinary course of our data-management practices.
Children
This site is intended for adults seeking home services. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If we learn that we have inadvertently done so, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Last updated: July 2, 2026.
Information we collect
When you use a quote form, contact form, chat tool, or phone number on the site, we collect the details you provide - typically your name, email address, phone number, the address where work is needed, and a description of the project or service you are looking for.
We also collect basic technical information automatically: which pages you visited, how long you stayed, the type of browser and device you used, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. This technical data does not identify you on its own but helps us understand how the site is being used.
Your consent to contact and transfer
By submitting a form, initiating a chat, or otherwise sending us your information, you acknowledge that the information will be forwarded to the independent business or businesses that respond to your request - and you accept that transfer. You also acknowledge and accept that both Floodline Restoration Co. and that business may contact you by phone call, SMS, or email in connection with your request.
Agreeing to receive calls or texts is not a requirement for obtaining any service. You may still be served if you ask us to limit contact to a particular channel.
Text messaging (SMS)
When you submit a request and provide a mobile number, both Floodline Restoration Co. and the independent business that takes your request may send you text messages about it.
- Your consent covers calls and text messages placed using an automatic telephone dialing system or autodialer, as well as messages delivered with a prerecorded or artificial voice.
- Agreeing to receive calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Message frequency depends on the nature of your request and how the responding business handles follow-up - it will vary.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
- To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message we or our partner send you. Reply HELP for assistance. Note that opting out of texts will not automatically stop all other communication about an open request unless you specifically ask for that.
- You can also direct opt-out or help requests to us through the contact page.
How we share information
The primary reason we collect your contact details and project description is to pass them to the businesses in our network that are positioned to respond to your type of request in your area. Those companies operate entirely on their own - they set their own prices, schedule their own jobs, and may reach out to you directly. Our role ends at the referral.
Beyond that routing function, information may also be shared with the affiliated brands and operational vendors described in the Affiliated Brands section above, with analytics and advertising platforms that help us run the site, and with legal or regulatory authorities if required by law.
We do not sell or share de-identified aggregate analytics data for the purpose of targeting advertising, but as noted in the State Rights section, passing your submitted request details to the businesses that fulfill it may qualify as a sale or share under certain state laws.
